Scouts are headed to our annual Tri-District Camp next weekend! The theme this year is "Stone Age", and the kids have been doing a great job preparing for the camp.
We are planning to leave at 18:30 on Friday, May 12th, returning before suppertime on Sunday, May 14th, 2017. The gear list is attached here for your convenience - please check the weather forecast before leaving!
The camp will be held in Quebec this year, in the town of Bedford (Expo Bedford, 16 rue Philippe Cote, Bedford, QC J0J 1A0).
The cost of the camp is $40.00 per scout, and we ask that you please pack their Medicare card and if they require any medication, to pack it and advise us.
The Scouts spent hours on Saturday decorating and setting up for the annual senior's dinner at the PBCA. They will then spend Sunday welcoming the guests, taking coats and serving dinner on Sunday.
Thanks a lot, Scouts, it couldn't happen without you! Also, a big thank you to Manon (Tic Tac) for cooking and organizing (as always), and Marina, Mickel, Shannon, Susan and Christine for helping out! Pictures of the set-up can be found on our photo page here.
The Scouts enjoyed mild weather at their 2015 Fall camp, held at Camp Tamaracouta. Check out the photos page for some shots of the campsite.
Scouts attended a council meeting at Dorval City Hall last night and picked up some insight into how our local government works. It was more fun than it sounds!!
