![]() The Pine Beach all-sections Christmas party will be held on December 16; parents and siblings are encouraged to party with us! The party starts at 6:30 - Cubs/Scouts must wear their uniforms. Cubs will need to bring a side dish (potato/macaroni salad, actual salad, your parents "special recipe" something, etc.) and Scouts will bring main dishes. There will also be a surprise visitor! ![]() Our annual Baden Powell Dinner (aka the rubber-chicken dinner) is coming up soon. This year it's on Friday, February 20th at 6:30 pm. Tickets (to pay for the cost of the dinner) are $9.00 each person. We ask that, if you are able, to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to needy Dorval families. The Dorval Scout groups will be meeting at Pine Beach Park (the one with the gazebo) for this year's Shoreline Cleanup at 9am. We will need parents to assist as we will be forming teams of garbage spotters, bag holders and garbage inventory specialists! Convenient parking is located at Walters Park (aka the Fishy Park):
![]() Congratulations, Kieran, on receiving the Cub six-star award at the Pine Beach Scouts end of year BBQ! We've enjoyed having you as one of our Cubs and wish you the best as you join the Nahani Scout troop. View photos from the BBQ on our photo page here. ![]() The PBCA Scouting season has come to a sort-of end, and that means our annual all-section BBQ! We'll be holding it this Wednesday at 6:30pm and serving hot dogs and burgers. We'll need Scouts to bring drinks, Cubs to bring side dishes and Beavers to handle desserts. Parents and siblings are invited! ![]() We have an all section Christmas party on Wednesday, December 11 at the PBCA. Because of this, there will be no Cub meeting on the 9th. In keeping with the season we will be serving a traditional meal of pizza, all different kinds! Parents and siblings are welcome. Cubs come in uniform. We would like Cub parents to provide a few side dishes. Items such as salads, snacks, veggies, etc. would be great. Santa may take time out from his busy schedule to stop by! ![]() Time: 9am to 1pm We’ll be meeting at Windsor Park Chalet at 9am to collect food stuffs from around the neighborhood. We will need a few parent volunteers to help drive the Cubs around. Afterwards, we meet our partner group (Strathmore) at Courtland Park and hike to the Sarto Desnoyers Community Centre, where the Cubs' hard work will be rewarded with a BBQ! The food collected will go to Community Aid for the people out there who need help. This year marks the 19th year (!) for the Hike for Hunger. Let’s all get out there and help out! Update - Thank you to everyone who helped to make this a success! Click here for photos! ![]() Thanks to everyone who joined in on The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup! The weather held up and we saw great participation from Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and parents! Great job, everyone! Click here for the final tally! |
